Donate

Since 2010, ​Net of Compassion has been funded entirely by donations of goods, private gifts and small grants. Richard and Elizabeth rely heavily on their faith to help them get through tough financial times. Over the years they have had generous community members come forward to provide the much needed food, vehicles and equipment to run reach out to the Worcester community. The Board of Directors at Net of Compassion provide both direction and financial support, with 100% giving participation.

Volunteer

Net of Compassion always needs volunteers to help with the work we do. Most volunteer activities take place at 674 Main Street, Worcester, MA. However, you may have other skills to offer.  Please consider the available volunteer opportunities and contact us if you have questions.

In-Kind Donations

Net of Compassion accepts in-kind donations for our Food Pantry and Grace Closet (clothing and home goods).

Important!
  • Food: we accept food donations on a case-by-case basis, depending on our needs and space for inventory
  • Clothing: we accept donations of clean, gently used clothing and shoes, etc.
  • We can accept only new socks and underwear or under garments. We cannot accept used socks or under garments of any kind.
  • Call (774) 420-2445 if you need help coordinating your drop-off appointment. Please do not leave donations behind without coordinating with the staff (they can get damaged in the rain, etc.). Donations may be brought to 674 Main Street, Worcester, MA.

Organize a Food or Clothing Drive

There are many different ways to organize a drive and we can help you work out the details of what method works best for your organization.  Other organizations have gathered needed items or raised money, and sometimes both.  They have often focused on one of our programs, like supplies for the outdoor shower units or food for our pantry.  Our current top needs and some examples of previous donation drives can be found below  There are many possibilities and we look forward to working with you to figure out the route that is best for your organization.
